Down in the Dumps

It’s overcast and chilly here in my part of the world. Suits my mood. Been a rough month. Too much politics, a nasty case of the flu, my preferred candidate lost the race, my favorite news anchor up and died.

It’s a good day for staying in bed, curled up in the fetal position and blocking everything out.  But I’m a grown up. More or less. Shit happens. And none of mine is life threatening at the moment.

So I’ll do what grown ups do. Suck it up. Carry on. Do something nice for myself or someone else. Life is a mixed bag.  Maybe the sun will be shining tomorrow.

  1. Feel better!

there is only one thing I ever found that never disappointed me, never failed me, always helps, uplifts, transforms, transfigures, changes everything for the better, and gives me exactly what I need at the exact perfect time for my highest and best: my Beloved, Christ Jesus.

May you find the peace and comfort that you desire deeply in your soul!
