Keep Dancing

I have to keep dancing
no matter how stiff
and hurting
this body of mine.
Even if my bones scream
and my muscles plead
I still dance–
dance through the pain;
let the rhythm
shout louder
than the pain.
‘Cause when I’m dancing
I’m most free,
I’m most me.
